7 National Awards at Destination Imagination!

Our seven teams that participated in the Destination Imagination Eurasia Tournament held in Antalya on March 5–8th, 2026, achieved remarkable results.

Our “The Mind Benders” team, consisting of Çamlıca Middle School students Ali BAYOĞLU, Haluk Emre VAROL, Deniz DEMİRCİOĞLU, Defne Naz AKBULUT, Mehmet Eren YILDIRAN, and Fatih ATİK, placed 1st in Türkiye in the Engineering Challenge.

Our “Engineer Ninjas” team, consisting of Çamlıca Primary School students Azra GÖKGÖZ, Leyla SUNER, Nuh Şems YAPIŞLAR, Arden ŞENER, Deniz PİLAVCI, Zeynep VAROL, and Ayşe ÖZAL, placed 2nd in Türkiye in the Engineering Challenge.

Our “DIsolation” team, consisting of Eyüboğlu High School students Ayça GÜZEL, İpek DEMİRÖZ, Defne Naz EDİS, Damla ÇETİNKAYA, and Berru Dilara DEMİRBULAK, placed 2nd in Türkiye in the Engineering Challenge.

Our “Dilusion” team, consisting of Eyüboğlu High School students Nell OJALVO, Deniz AYDEMİR, İdil ÖZBERK, Ceren GÜNER, Deniz Alp KAPTANOĞLU, Tuna KÜÇÜK, and Ali GÜLMEZ, placed 3rd in Türkiye in the Technical Challenge.

Our “Kapya Biberler” team, consisting of Burçak Eyüboğlu Middle School students Duru TÜKEL, Beren TÜRKMEN, Poyraz KÜLEKÇİ, Doğa ÇIRAK, Deniz Derin YILMAZ, and Ada AYDIN, placed 4th in Türkiye in the Technical Challenge.

Our “DI-NeReids” team, consisting of students from Eyüboğlu High School and Burçak Eyüboğlu Science and Technology High School Ayşe YILDIZ, Zehra Duru SEZGİNER, Derin PEKER, Mısra BAYRAK, Alisa ÖZTÜRK, and Çağla Lena EYİGÜN, placed 5th in Türkiye in the Fine Arts Challenge.

Our “CycleBreakers” team, consisting of students from Eyüboğlu High School and Burçak Eyüboğlu Science and Technology High School Nehir TURAN, Ela ERHAN, Emir ERELEL, Duru Naz KOŞAR, and Emir ÜZÜLMEZ, placed 5th in Türkiye in the Scientific Challenge.
