Session on “Rules and Laws in Germany – The German Mentality” in the German Language and Culture Certificate Program

Our Grade 9 German students participated in a session titled “Rules and Laws in Germany – The German Mentality” as part of the German Language and Culture Certificate Program. The guest of the program was Attorney Prof. Dr. Mehmet Köksal, Representative of the Istanbul Bar Association in Germany. During the session, our students gained a general overview of Germany’s legal system, its federal state structure, and fundamental rights. Through case examples, they also had the opportunity to explore how the legal system functions in practice. This experience allowed them to engage with the German language within the broader context of culture, law, and social structures, enabling them to develop a more comprehensive perspective.
