A Day Where Diplomacy, Language and Culture Meet: Spanish Culture Certificate Program

As part of our Spanish Language and Culture Certificate Program, the Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador to Türkiye, Mr. Pedro Jose Vintimilla VEGA, visited our school and met with our General Manager Mr. Cenk EYÜBOĞLU.

Following the meeting, the Ambassador came together with our 9th grade Spanish language students and delivered a presentation about Ecuador. During the presentation, students learned about Ecuador’s geography, cultural richness, language, and social structure, gaining the opportunity to explore a different country from a diplomatic perspective.

After this engaging and informative session, our students participated in a special discussion on Don Quijote de la Mancha with Eduardo Navarro CARRION from the Cultural Department of the Cervantes Institute İstanbul. Through this iconic work—widely regarded as one of the most important works of world literature and the beginning of the modern novel—students explored the historical development, literary depth, and cultural heritage of the Spanish language.
