Coding Week, Held Between December 8–12, Concludes with the Theme “Artificial Intelligence and Ethics”

Held between December 8th to 12th , our Coding Week brought students together around the concepts of technology, innovation, and responsibility under this year’s theme, “Artificial Intelligence and Ethics.”

Throughout the week, we welcomed inspiring guest speakers—experts in their fields—both on our campuses and through online sessions. In addition, the program featured parent-inclusive activities as well as sessions dedicated to student project presentations.

The Istanbul Technical University (ITU) ATA Team shared their Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) projects and teamwork processes with our students, offering valuable insights into engineering practices and problem-solving skills.

Muratcan KARAGÖZ, who leads innovation initiatives at Sun Tekstil R&D Center, delivered an online session on AI-supported digital design and 3D modeling applications in the fashion industry. Students gained first-hand insight into how innovative designs can be developed without the need for physical prototypes.

Tümay SOLAK, Innovation Manager at Enerjisa and Founder of Selekt AI, presented a talk titled “How Does Artificial Intelligence Select the Startups of the Future? – The Story of Selekt AI,” sharing how AI plays a role in startup evaluation and decision-making processes.

During an online meeting, Seza DURSUN from Boyner AI Center discussed the impact of artificial intelligence on product intelligence and search technologies, illustrating how AI contributes to product recognition, content generation, and the analysis of customer needs.

The Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) Team introduced their autonomous underwater vehicle to our students, offering an inspiring look into advanced engineering solutions.

We believe that all these activities carried out during Coding Week will help our students develop a deeper understanding of artificial intelligence, strengthen their data-driven thinking skills, and gain a strong perspective as they continue their journey of creating new ideas through technology.
