On the 87th anniversary of his passing, we commemorated Atatürk in his homeland!

13 November 2025 Thursday

Between November 7–10, 2025, we visited the historic lands where our Great Leader, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was born and spent part of his childhood and youth.

At 9.05 a.m. on November 10, we attended the commemoration ceremony held at Atatürk’s birthplace by the Consulate General of Turkey in Thessaloniki to express our deepest respect and gratitude. Following the ceremony, our students performed heartfelt tributes, expressing their love and longing for Atatürk through their words and performances.

Hosted by H.E. Serkan Gedik, Consul General of Turkey in Thessaloniki, we once again witnessed the roots of our Republic, the traces of our Great Leader, and his universal vision. During this meaningful journey, our students not only visited these historic places but also deeply felt Atatürk’s ideas, ideals, and the bright path of the Republic in their hearts.

Once again, we saw that the light born in Thessaloniki continues to illuminate our path!
