In the 102nd year of our Republic, we were on the path of liberation, step by step!

Between October 24–26, our 8th-grade students took part in a meaningful trip covering Kütahya, Eskişehir, and Afyon — the key cities where the heart of our War of Independence once beat.

Organized under the theme “Step by Step on the Path of Liberation,” the trip extended learning beyond the classroom, directly linking with the History of the Turkish Revolution and Kemalism course.

Our students explored the significant developments of the Western Front of the War of Independence at historical sites, experiencing history through a spatial learning approach. Through reflections on the leadership and revolutionary character of our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, our students deepened their understanding of the struggle for independence. On this journey, they not only learned about history but also felt the values of the Republic — gaining a sense of awareness that bridges the past and the future.
